10/06/2009 - PAREF SOUTHRIDGE ENTRIES ARE C.M.M.A. FINALISTS ONCE MORE

Once again, PAREF Southridge is in the pool of finalists for the upcoming 31st Catholic Mass Media Awards (CMMA) on October 14. Two entries from the High School newspaper the Ridge, World Youth Day Sydney & Land of the Rising Sons, made it as finalists. And last year's winner for the Best Grade School Student Organ, The Junior Ridge, with their entry Speak up for Life is again in the running for Best Grade school paper. This is a testament to PAREF Southridge's campus journalism excellence which has always been a key to spreading information and values formation to the students and to the parents of the school.

This year PAREF Southridge is also a finalist in the professional website division of the CMMA. www.southridge.edu.ph was formed as collaboration between the Institutional Information Office and The Management Information Systems Department of the school. It serves both as an informative and interactive website wherein parents could access information about the school, their son's grades, schedules and requirements.

Southridge has been a consistent contender in the Catholic Mass Media Awards and is surely to continue a legacy of media excellence.
