09/06/2010 - PAREF SCHOOLS ON 2nd YEAR OF NEW PARENTS EDUCATION PROGRAM (NPEP)

The PAREF Schools in the South are now on their second year of organizing the New Parents Education Program (NPEP) in cooperation with the Educhild Foundation. The program aims to equip parents with the basic skills in facing the parenting challenges of modern times. The sessions will run until November 2010.
08/24/2010 - SOUTHRIDGE HIGH SCHOOL DEBATE TEAM IS CMLI TOURNAMENT GRAND CHAMPION!

Members of The Podium, Southridge's official debate varsity team, emerged as champions in the recently concluded CMLI High School Debate Tournament. Southridge Team A, composed of Lance Katigbak, Pempen Chiang, and JV Valerio edged out Southridge Team B, composed of Julian Ferrer, Mark Lozano, and Raffy Tanpho in the Grand Finals. Pempen Chiang was adjudged Finals Best Speaker, while Raffy Tanpho and Julian Ferrer were awarded 9th and 10th Best Speakers of the tournament, respectively.
Southridge Team C, composed of Renzo Escalona, Anton Arguelles, and Mike Agoncillo, and Southridge Team D, composed of Joaquin Escano, Jairus Paul, and Paulo Abalos, were octofinalists in the regional tournament.
The tournament was held last August 14, 15, and 21, 2010 at the Colegio San Agustin - Makati. Over 60 teams from over 20 schools competed, including Ateneo de Manila High School, La Salle Greenhills, De La Salle Zobel, PAREF Woodrose, and San Beda College - Alabang.
