GRADE SCHOOL
If a student passes all subjects by the end of the school year (passing grade is 75), he is promoted to the next higher level.
A student shall be retained in a particular level if he falls under any of the following cases:
- He failed three subjects at the end of the school year.
- He failed two of the following subjects: English, Mathematics and Science at the end
- of the school year. If he failed one of these, he should pass a validation exam in that subject to get promoted.
- His general average is below 75
HIGH SCHOOL
If a student passes all subjects by the end of the school year (passing grade is 75), he is promoted to the next higher level.
If a student is deficient in two (2) subjects by the end of the school year, he should course these deficiencies during summer and pass all of them by the end of the summer to be promoted to the next higher level. Failure in one summer course disqualifies the student from being promoted to the next higher level.
If he is deficient in 3 or more subjects by the end of the school year, he has to repeat his level.
