Goals: Revival and strengthening of the 'sports school' project

The Alabang Sports Academy (ASA) aims to offer sports specialization and sports tutorials and sports clinic to the Alabang community and its neighbors.

The proposed venue is the Southridge Sports Complex.

Coaches and sports specialist will come from the school sports and physical education department.

Sports offerings will be the following:

Team Sports - Soccer, basketball, baseball and futsal

Individual Sports - Chess, Taekwondo, and Swimming

OBJECTIVES:

• The formation of the Alabang Sports Academy.
• To make use of the coaches and existing facilities to earn additional income for the school.
• To open the enrollment to the immediate community, i.e., nearby villages and schools.
• To offer grass roots sports development to Southridge students and their relatives.
• To serve as a marketing tool for Southridge.

PLAN OF ACTION:

• Review and improve on the original sports school plans.
• Make a listing of the qualified school coaches (licenses and other qualifications).
• Make a directory of contact persons of the neighboring villages and schools.
• Choose and make a list of probable sports offerings.
• Find marketing people to promote this project.
